Ukraine

Ukraine is a country of approximately 46.7 million with the capital city of Kiev having approximately 3.2 million (metro area).  Per capita income is only $1,040 with large unemployment and rampant corruption.  The political situation remains unpredictable.  The number of Evangelicals (including Pentecostal/Charismatics) represents 4.4% of the population.  MTEE is filling the need for good theological training with 35 Bible Colleges and 2 masters programs.  Pray for Paul and Susan Shotsberger who lead the work there and for the Jorash family who are helping with the work as well.   Pray also for the Children’s Ministry program and the “Successful Parenting” seminars which are geared to the great needs of the families in Ukraine.
